MojPosao has continuously been conducting a survey on employee satisfaction since 2007, with the winners being awarded the title of 'The Best Employer'. The survey participants are companies that voluntarily apply for participation and the employees of those companies rate the level of satisfaction.
The aim of the survey is to provide assistance to companies in determining factors that contribute to better human resources management and overall employee satisfaction.
The companies that opt to participate in the survey will be provided with the following information:
• a report which includes the quantitative analysis of 78 questions/claims and grades for each particular category of employee satisfaction (9 categories plus an additional category EMPLOYEE COMMITMENT), as well as the overall satisfaction rate.
• a report that provides a historical overview of all the years the company has participated in the survey, including the following criteria: department, location, sex, age, professional qualifications, length of employment, etc.
• a report with comparative data (upon the conclusion of survey for the current year): comparisons with the best businesses from the company’s category, with all the participant companies, with companies from the same line of business and business segment (provided that minimum three companies from a particular segment participate in the survey).
The company applies for the participation in the survey voluntarily. The survey is conducted throughout the year, i.e. whenever it best suits the company.
Each participant company undergoes the same procedures
1. Online application and user interface setup. The company can opt to have a single admin who may, if deemed necessary, generate reports for particular departments, branch office or other demographic variables.
2. Prior to survey commencement, the company admin enters the following data:
• employee structure (numbers of men and women, professional qualifications and a number of senior staff)
• desired method of survey implementation:
• online – the company admin enters the e-mail address(es) of the employee(s) which are then automatically sent an e-mail with a link to the online questionnaire
• paper questionnaires – the company admin enters the required number of paper questionnaires
• combined – some employees complete the online questionnaire, others use the paper version
Company admin chooses the desired dates for the survey implementation:
• a maximum of 15 days for online survey
• 21 days for paper questionnaires survey or the combined survey.
3. Enters particular company departments/branch offices (optional entry, for companies which require a more in-depth analysis)
4. Enters additional questions (optional entry – question type – textual, checkbox and radio button; for companies that want to expand the questionnaire with specific questions)
Upon the completion of the survey, the company admin locks the data that are subsequently revised by the project admin and can no longer be altered.
In order to ensure maximum employee anonymity, the system of satisfaction survey processes the data in the following manner:
Online satisfaction survey
• the company administrator can choose between two optinons:
• the company administrator downloads the survey implementation codes from the system and is obligated to distribute them to the employees prior the commencement of the survey period
• the employees access the questionnaire by entering the access code into the form at the webpage www.upitnik.hr
Satisfaction survey via paper questionnaires
• the company admin enters the number of required paper questionnaires when applying the company for the survey
• the system generates questionnaires which are delivered to the company admin via mail.
• also delivered with the questionnaires are the ballot boxes, box seals and instructions (positioning of ballot boxes, methods of questionnaire distribution, method of ballot box return to the organizer).
• completed questionnaire forms are manually entered into the system by the organizer and are verified through the control number system
The employee satisfaction survey questionnaire consists of an introductory section which explains the survey procedure, questions intended to determine the sample structure (age, sex, total years of service, total years of service at the current employer, professional qualification, position in the company) and 78 claims that can be classified into 9 categories:
• Level of task difficulty
• Supervisor support
• Work organisation
• Working conditions
• Personal growth and development
• Inclusion in the decision-making process
• Work commitment
• Human relations
• Corporative communication
The results of the four categories (Personal growth and development, Inclusion in the decision-making process, Human relations and Corporative communication) are additionally analysed within a separate unit – Employee ENGAGEMENT.
Each questionnaire has an equal number of randomly ordered claims.
The companies may include additional questions that will follow the claims from the questionnaire.
In order to ensure data collection security, each paper questionnaire has a unique control number

the company can use the user interface to supervise the implementation of the survey, percentage of questionnaire completion and to download reports on employee satisfaction
Overview of company results per all claims, with an additional option of filtering by specific criteria
Historic overview report that includes results from all the years the company has participated in the survey
Company overview in comparison with all the companies, top 3 companies, and companies in the general and specific line of business
A quick survey that will help you discover current employee satisfaction within the organization.
Based on the results of a previously conducted Employee Satisfaction Survey, the company may conduct a PULS - Short Survey that captures employee satisfaction through specific categories, within the department or within the entire company.
The company can test up to 13 questions of previously conducted research (or self-created) and find out the success of implementing an action plan to improve employee satisfaction.

EACH COMPANY PARTICIPATINGIN THE EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION SURVEY CAN ENTER THE AWARD COMPETITION
A company participating in the employee satisfaction survey that wants to enter the competition for “The Best Employer” award must meet the following criteria:
• the company must have a minimum of 20 employees
• compliance with the minimum occupancy of the questionnaire is created by the number of employees of a company:
• 20-50 employees - min. 85% occupancy
• 51-100 employees - min. 80% occupancy
• 101-200 employees - min.65% occupancy
• over 200 employees - min. 51% occupancy
• the sample of employees participating in the survey must reflect the structure of company employees (the questionnaires must be equally distributed and completed throughout all the company departments)
• The satisfaction survey must be completed by November 30th, 2023, the latest.
Companies that receive the best grades from their employees, rank 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
Companies that do not win any of the three awards within their respective category are not revealed their position in the list.
Exceptionally, in the case of a smaller number of registered companies, the company may receive a Certificate of Excellence if it has a grade higher than 3.5.
The certificate is awarded to the company in printed form, and is also displayed with a special badge on the website Deloglasnik.com.
